The Wacky Racers

meet Jeroen & Iris

This vibrant couple craves adventure, roaming around, celebrating campfires, meeting jolly strangers, sing together, Rock ’n Roll, exceptional good espresso and accomplish wild & crazy challenges. And above all, they are blown away by the astonishing Scottish Highlands.

In February ’24 they secretly eloped in Scotland and afterwards took there three kids and labradoodle on a midyear family-sabbatical throughout Europe and beyond.

Although Jeroen prefers to play old-school punkrock on his electric guitar. And Iris mainly sings with childeren and brings music into schools for special needs.
They love instant-music-making and singing evergreens around a campfire.

adventure rally

Besides having a jolly good time and ofcourse conquer this outrachious rally. Jeroen & Iris aspire to raise funds for a heartening secondary Waldorf School: ‘Kairos College‘ in Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

Kairos offers contemporary Waldorf education, with a diverse range of lessons in many different subjects. A school where students can be themselves and are truly seen, where you learn in connection with each other and with nature, with attention to craft and art.

Boris, the oldest son of Jeroen & Iris, is tending this lovely school. And despite of the daily time-consuming journey he has to take to get there. They see him trive with such glee and wonder.
A cause they genuinely support.

Time for a new adventure, to trive as our most vibrant self and celebrate life with some ‘good crazy’.
