We love travelling, but holy shit, we needed this!

After three weeks of road-tripping through Sri Lanka and five days of absolute paradise in the Maldives, we had a little stopover in Kuala Lumpur.

Four days in this massive, crazy, colourful city.

And after four weeks of guesthouses, homestays and hotels… we suddenly had an apartment.

And honestly? What a luxury!

A kitchen, a washing machine and a space to spread our stuff out without having to pack everything back into a bag every single morning. Being able to cook our own food instead of eating out three times a day.

And best of all: spending an entire day in the air conditioning watching Netflix.

These four days were basically: swimming, street food, a wonderfully weird museum, a bit of exploring… and then back to the apartment.

Sometimes travelling means climbing mountains, crossing oceans and exploring new cities. And sometimes… it means lying horizontally in air conditioning watching Netflix with the whole family.

After four weeks of constantly moving, this was exactly what we needed!
